An international property website has predicted that Valencia will be one of the best-performing markets in Spain this year.
With improved accommodation and infrastructure already established as a result of the developments surrounding the America's Cup, the eastern coastal city is set to continue its emergence as one of Spain's leading locations in 2008, Homes Worldwide reports.
Although Valencia has "benefited hugely" in recent years due to international sailing competition the America's Cup, the arrival of Formula One this summer could give the city an even greater boost, the website reports.
The new Formula One circuit is based around the new America's Cup port in Valencia. With stars such as Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso set to race around the city streets in August, the track has already drawn comparisons with Monaco's famous Grand Prix.
