During the first six months of 2008, the construction of luxury houses in tourism markets registered an increase of 17%, passing from 41,568 units under construction to 48,497, according to Softec’s data.

Foreign tourism grew 7.5% in the Community of Valencia during the first half of 2008

Formula 1's organisation increases accommodations for 9,000 Fair visitors
First came the 9,000-ticket increase for the Formula 1 European Grand Prix, given the huge success of the first 100,000. Once the problem of demand excess was resolved, the organisation also decided to find a solution for the accommodation of all of those who managed to obtain one of the new tickets, making available for purchase a 4-night camping package in the Valencia Fair for an extra 200 euros.
