One of BANCAJA HABITAT’s business lines is comprehensive land management, which covers the entire urban development process.

Since 1991 the Group has operated a strategy of diversification and growth, beginning in the Community of Valencia before extending to other autonomous communities in the country, making the most of the Group's experience as an urban development agent.

Urban development

BANCAJA HABITAT, whether directly or through its participation in over 50 companies, is currently involved in the development of a large number of urban development projects, all of varied natures and undertaken in different locations. The portfolio of properties covers a surface area of approximately 17.45 million m², and is mainly located in the Valencia region, Madrid, Barcelona, Andalusia and the Mayan Riviera (Mexico).

Over the coming years work will continue on looking for sustained growth for activity in the Community of Valencia, as well as strengthening new investment in the rest of the country, in both residential land and land used for tertiary, industrial and sales purposes. In addition, due to the Group's awareness of the social and environmental impact of urban development, a more sustainable urban development and construction model will be created, ensuring the wellbeing of future generations and encouraging respect for the surroundings in which projects are undertaken.
